If you don't like Amibay, there are other options to use.

I'm not a fan of the place due to some arrogance I was shown when I got back into the Amiga scene a few years back, but the place fills a very important role for the Amiga community.  If you like it, use it - if not, you have other options I suppose.

How were they arrogant? I don't know much about the place though. Amiga.org is the only Amiga forum site i go to.

Really?
In the words of an ad for one of the Airplane movies, I think.
"If you only see one movie this summer, you've got to get out more.."

There are LOTS of Amiga forums out there..
Lots of good information....

Just think how sad it is that they have been deprived; not to have a Kesa there!!!

.....And yes they also ridicule aorg all the time.....

Really? Care to provide an example? Or is this just another example of the absolute rubbish you keep spouting? There are a few members from here over there too, and on EAB also, I'm sure they would have noticed.

Amibay hasn't been "hacked" by leet Amiga hackers. There was a problem with an upgrade, and an unpatched vulnerability was exploited.
Both of those issues have been sorted out, or are in the process of being sorted out, and things will return to normal fairly shortly.
It doesn't matter how much you whine and complain, Amibay is not going away. It is also not going to change, to suit you. If it keeps parasites like you away from buying from the members, that's just dandy.

The only person butt hurt here is you, and it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling to see you writhe impotently in rage, so please, keep it up.

Very true! Just think how many people/mod bots i could annoy if i spread my wings a bit. But i think i'd better not, Cammy wouldn't be too happy if i did start visiting other forums. She ain't like me. She left this forum because of me.

This forum becomes a kind of social life emulator sometimes, the threads with more traffic are the dumbest ones, lets recongnice it.

Pfft, i'm amazed you didn't leave sooner. I did and never looked back, only reason i'm here is AmiBay was down but it's back up now.
Infact why the hell am I still posting here?

What is so bad here to you? Now that Franko is gone things are more about classic help and useful posts.

Ive deleted some of my "build log" on there because i really want nothing to do with amibay, it was very quickly killing my newly refound interest in the Amiga.

If you could delete my profile off there it would be much appreciated, you are welcome to also delete any  threads i have started.

I'm sorry to hear you feel that way AmmoJammo just e-mail us at
admin@amibay.com and we will deactivate your account..
