Thats correct.

From memory the AI A1200 used a higher capacity PC drive where as the C= A1200's used a regular double density drive.

AI A1200's are revision 2B which from what I can gather nearly always require timing fixes.

I'm not sure but as you'd probably be using WHDload for gaming it shouldn't be an issue. According to the A1200 wiki page ESCOM released a circuit that fixed the issue, I'm not sure if there is another work around.

Are you thinking of getting an A1200 from Petro's next batch? ;-)

So, is it possible that someone found/has the XXXX number of A1200's, and Petro knows him and ordered 60 of them to resell??

Both stories could be true...

Why the person who has them is only selling to Petro and only in small batches?  If true, who knows.  At least the last part could be cost of shipping and up front money.

Still, good to see "new" Amigas in the eco-system.  ;-)

I'm an amiga user since my childhood, and it's a very special machine to me (specially Amiga 500 and 1200 wich have been with me since 1989 and 1993 respectively).

I'm not seeking to buy one of your units: I have 7 unused Amiga 1200 myself already, wich will keep me well served until I die (far, far in the future I hope!).

However, I want to THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart, for what you're doing for us, informatic sons of the best desktop computer mankind has engineered. Please, DON'T allow the few bad educated persons who try to offend you damage your good intentions.

Please, keep the machines coming, if you can, AND if you enjoy doing it. It's probably the last time these machines are going on sale totally new! Keep it special!

I don't think anyone really doubts that, but there is some confusion about whether or not you are able to get more from the same source.
You could sell many more I think, even at a higher price.
