Yes you have to pay up front, they are not shipped until you pay. The total cost for mine (in GBP) was £171 which includes a £10 fee by my bank to send money abroad.

It's the German version (QWERTZ).

Mine arrived today. It is in fact a UK version - well mine is anyway. QWERTY keyboard and UK power supply. Overall I'm very happy with it - it all smells new and has obviously never been used. The software box is still sealed. Things to bear in mind if wanting to buy:

- There is discolouration to some of the cables (but NOT the Amiga - perfectly white.)
- The warranty seal on the bottom of the Amiga is broken (I assume to void the warranty.)
- Petro has not only signed the box, but also the Amiga. I would have preferred he hadn't personally, as I don't think it will come off
- It has obviously been moved around over the years, so don't expect the box and inserts to be perfect.

Overall, very happy with it though. Nice to open up a new Amiga for the first time since 1994

I am thinking of buying this, where I live A1200s go for near the same amount used with slight yellowing ^^
I would just use the case tho, since I got a NOS keyboard and my internal parts are from a C= miggy.

So I fired off an e-mail to  amiga1200magic@gmail.com about purchasing one of the magic packs. fingers crossed petro still has some left.
If some of the mooted hardware projects pan out then I could beef this a1200 up a lot. Anyone get a response from this e-mail address recently?

Although Id REALLY like one or two of these -  I just cant buy another unexpanded Amiga, seeing there was so much debacle about getting timing fixes done etc to use Jens otherwise probably excellent ACA accellerators - Id much prefer to buy these from a reseller already checked and expanded !!! But I guess thats not going to happen .. I wonder though where the other Amigas have gone, this initial batch seemed to be only 60 ? Good Amigas should really not go to waste in this PC world ! I say buy em all Vesalia or someone else :-) And let them ease out into the market before everyone forgets about Amigas and only use tablets :-/

If he used a Sharpie or something similar to sign the case, then rubbing alcohol applied with a cotton ball or Q-tip might remove it.  If any of the ink is trapped in the embossed texture of the case, then using a alcohol and a soft tooth brush on it might get that out.
