MiniMig scart lead question.
« on: April 11, 2012, 08:16:36 PM »
My Minimig only works with certain TV's in VGA mode.  If I were to get a VGA-Scart lead and would I have more success that?  Does anyone have any experience of this?

In a word, yes.
Most TVs are a bit fussy about 50Hz on the VGA input, but will accept it on HDMI or Scart inputs.
You need to switch mode to 15K (non-scan doubled).
The core will then output composite sync on one sync line and a logic '1' on the other, which can be used to auto-switch the TV.
At least that's what our version of the core does, I believe the original is the same.

Thanks Mike.  I've now ordered a cable from AmigaKit so I'll see how things go next week.
