laserback is trolling (or a poor attempt at humour).

abime.net and RCK are based in france.

Got a link to the A1k.org thread?

A devastating blow to the classic community if this is the case :(  Also a lot of valuable info lost in their threads.  I guess we'll see if it comes back tomorrow when people are back to work, but it's not looking good.

This would mean Hall of Light is dead too :(

Same, wish I had taken back-ups of some of the sticky threads in the hardware section, HOL is a massive loss too.  Presumably RCK could get some funds by selling Abime off, rather than just taking it down with him?

I think someone is pulling your leg then! - and which thread?

the address you mentioned in your post is the address for "Progressive peripherals and software" - a company many might remember from the old days.

How about stopping spreading nonsense!

Yup, trolling. It makes perfect sense to move to the USA when you're financially ruined. It also makes perfect sense to post that on youtube instead of an Amiga board.

A very poor attempt indeed :)

Yeah. I'm pretty sure its just BS. And Thorham you're absolutely right, it makes no sense to move to the US, me being a citizen here, the poor stay poor due to lack of proper medical care, the IRS being a hound that goes after people who make honest mistakes rather than those cheating them and of course the myriad of idiots that run the place.
My machines:
PowerMac G4 MDD 1.5ghz 1.25GB 10.5.8 & MOS 2.7
Mac Mini C2D 10.6.8 2GHz 3GB 250GB HDD
MacBook Retina 16GB 256GB SSD 10.8
iPad 2
Underground Gamer invites (a classic game site) PM

Need a part for a PC or Mac? PM me, I\'ll let you know if I come across it.

OS X trumps Windows on every level.

MorphOS, OS4 and Classic Amiga systems are the only ones who are real \'Amigas\', not that joke AROS or Amiga Forever.

Pack in the trolling, and maybe leave the slightly xenophobic sentiments alone as well eh?

Definitely not Africa, but its just the US isn't what its chocked up to be. We have no universal healthcare, we have high crime despite a high Concealed Carry ownership (look at cities like Dallas, Richmond) And our politicos are among the most retarded in the world. No, we are no better than Europe, and in some ways, Europe trumps us.

I already visited a1k.org and all they were saying is that it's holiday and they will fix it tomorrow, more or less:

http://www.a1k.org/forum/showthread.php?t=31433&highlight=eab+down

Thomas says for example: "It is a holiday, who should fix it? Have been waiting until Tuesday." (Google translation).

Edit: Oh, sorry I think you have to be registered. You can search it, it's called "Ist das EAB platt?" http://www.a1k.org/forum

Edit again: And I've been searching information here. Everytime I've opened this thread I find a lot of guest (now 4 members, 13 guest). Do you know what it means? There isn't another way to know what is happening, and trolling isn't the best idea.
