I just got done fitting my 1200D with a Lyra 2 adapter which is no big deal, but I have a Fast ATA IV which is a real challenge to get to coexist with other stuff.
Anyway, i did not know the Lyra was going to conflict with the FastATA, but i knew the Indivision AGA would for sure, so I got 4 ROM sockets and a clockport riser from Amigakit. So anyway my fast ATA is now stacked on 4 extra ROM sockets(2x2).
Also is anyone else has the FastATA i have found it much better to secure it with much smaller wire ties than the one it ships with. I just use two in parallel.
Also I ground down the sharp through-hole ends of the Lyra with a dremel tool and glued part of an old credit card to the to the keyra to prevent it from shorting with the FastATA..
Anyway, hopefully the Lyra can coexist with the Indivision, which it should I'd imagine, both being designed by Jens, but at least i have room under the FastATA now.
The case closes although i can tell its a little compressed, but it may be good as its pressing down on the FastATA on the ROM chips
if you are wondering why i want a Lyra in a 1200D its because i want to plug the 1200 into a KVM. My KVM is usb but then i have a USB->PS2 mouse/kb adapter, and finally a Cololino mouse adapter and the Lyra.
I love the smell of toxic fumes from using the dremel on the A1200 case...
