Trying to wire up my A2000's 2nd internal floppy drive to the external port by running a cable from the rear DF2: port to the internal (normally) DF1: drive. My HxC2001 is set to handle DF0:, DF1:.
I had a A1010 early external floppy on hand that was bad mechanism, so I took it and its daisy chain daughterboard out and wired it to the floppy drive in my A2000. I get a

from the system.
I guess that daisy chain board in there does not work with A2000-style drives?
The mechanism of the A1010 is 3/4-height, where the A2000 floppy is 1/2-height, FWIW.
