Yeah, I usually use iBrowse for most of my browsing, although I use AWeb sometimes too.
Mostly I connect to m68k.aminet.net.  ;-)

AmiIRC works well.
I use AmiTradeCenter for FTP.

If you have AmigaExplorer (by itself or from AmigaForever), that works REALLY WELL for transferring files from the PC.
Basically, I use AmiTradeCenter to pull files if I'm on the Amiga and I use AmigaExplorer to push files if I'm on the laptop.

For a final bit of fun, since I have a MAS Player Evolved from Amigakit for playing MP3s, I can use AmigaAMP and stream audio (shoutcast sites).

One thing I usually do when browsing, I look for mobile versions of sites.
Like eabmobile.abime.net for English Amiga Board, etc...

Not as purty, but works well..

iBrowse is running pretty well and is quite responsive, but there's an issue with the Settings window: whenever I direct it to open or display the GUI, HTML, Security, or Network sections, it disappears and won't come up again. And the prefs file is some kind of binary format, so I can't just tweak it in a text editor. Any idea how to resolve this?

Resolution problem maybe? I've run into that with some "advanced" app's, when I was running in straight up PAL mode.

Okay, the settings issue was indeed a resolution problem; I put it into interlaced mode, and it switched to the other sections without issue. Annoying, but at least I got it open and got the massive toolbar space trimmed down to a reasonable amount. It's impressively responsive even on the reply page with all the animated emoticons; kudos to any iBrowse developers that might ever happen to wander into this thread. I'm not sure if it'll work with GMail or not, currently it's complaining about the lack of SSL.

Sweet :)

I accessed Gmail without too much fuss, though it kept suggesting me to upgrade my browser :D

Yam works fine with gmail and many others, i use it daily.
http://www.yam.ch . you need to install amissl or miamissl to have working SSL.
Amissl is probabaly the easiest route.

Thanx,
I haven't even tried SSL on my A1200 TBH...
One of these days.  But for what I use my Amiga for online, I'm not sure it's a priority.
