Most compatable Accel. for A4000T?
« on: March 14, 2012, 10:24:01 PM »
As I try to resurrect my A4000T, I've come to a cross roads.  I know PPC is the fastest I can get with an 060 on it, but 060's are also notorious for being finicky with software that wasn't made for it.

I'm looking to do some game making that would work on classic Amigas for the most part (OCS, ECS & AGA).  RTG would be down the road if ever used.

To do this I need a setup that will not GURU on me left and right.  So am I more looking at an 040?

I have a Mediator on it's way w/ graphics card and Spider II so this seems to be the final piece of the puzzle to get everything working.

Thanks in advance!
AMIGA: (NOUN) THE FIRST COMPUTER THAT BRIDGED THE GAP BETWEEN HUMANITY AND TECHNOLOGY.

060 is more compatible than the 040 that may have shipped with the 4000 :)
