No eject cd on A2k?
« on: March 14, 2012, 08:31:09 PM »
I have a silly little problem that I hope one of you peeps has had and can point me in the right direction.
Just finished bloating my favourite miggy (A2K) with some new hardware and am truly getting back into the Amiga again however The CD-Rom will not eject after accessing a CD, the button does nothing. If I reset the miggy it will, or if I click the GVPcontrol program it sometimes will.
I tried adding GVPcontrol to wbstartup but it made no difference.
 Anybody? , thanks in advance

A2k with KS3.1 running WB3.1. HD is connected to a GVP HD8+ and the CD is connected to a GVP Geforce 030/25 . CD-Rom is a SCSI 50 pin Hewlett Packard 40x

I would say reseat cables, If that don't fix it during a fail to open issue just  stick a unfolded paper clip to eject and see if the CPU is bogged down not letting the door open. just sayin, hope it works.

easy... just drag the CD's icon to the trashcan.
