A3640 or blizzard 4030

I'm have a question , what card cpu is better for a4000 blizz4030/50mhz or a3640/25mhz commodore ?

I'm have two card cpu to choose

I would prefer an a3640, if you need more speed you can overclock it safely to 28 or 30Mhz for example. 030 will probably have good motherboard mem speed but cpu is quite weak compared to 040.

Is a 3640 commodore , compatibility with WHDLOAD?

I had a Blizzard 4030. Its not that fast but its ok. A Blizzard 1230IV on a 1200 is faster. Don't know about the 3640, never had one.

Most WhdLoad games will work with an 040. I did have about 1 or 2 out of every 10 games not work or not work properly when i had an Apollo 1240.

If its for whdload, an 030 is good enough and more compatible in my experience.
Amiga 1200/030 50mhz, 64mb ram

Amiga 2000, 030 25mhz, 7mb ram, A2320,  SCSI2CD
 
Amiga 3000/030 25mhz, CF SCSI card

Amiga 4000/ 040 33mhz 274mb ram

True that. An ideal WhdLoad machine would be an A1200 with a 68030 and 4 or 8MB ram.

is there a problem with Cybervision 64 at over clocked a3640 to 30mhz or dumb to worry about everything is okay with GFX ?

It will work without problems. It would be a good idea to add a small fan to the 040 if you overclock it.

BTW, keep in mind a 040/25 loads images (e.g. jpg) quite faster than 030/50.
