Apparently many care (thank God) :)

You can check a test video I made using my A600.

Not bad for an ECS junk...

Nice A600. I was just kidding about the ECS junk comment. I would not mind having a 600 like that one :)

I do wish the AGA was also available.

did anyone ever get a Shapeshifter driver for the Indivision ECS with any sort of special capabilities?

By the way, what's up with the so-called Graffiti emulation of the Indivision ECS?
Is is usable with Shapeshifter in 256 colors like the Graffiti was?
What is needed to use it?

There is a beta driver released some months ago in a1k.org
You can check the thread here. It has the driver plus some video testing it.

Hi :-)

Thanks for the link but i do not read german. With google translate, it is even worse.

So are they talking about the 800*600 driver you shown on your blog or is it another driver? Do they get fast 256 colors?

No it's not the SuperPlus driver by Ratte for 800x600!

If you download the archive and read the readme file you'll see that:
Code: [Select]
Shapeshifter Indivision ECS Driver V0.76
----------------------------------------
This driver is based on the graffiti drivers
and uses the Indivision Frame Buffer to show
up to 1024*768 in 12 bit (15 Bit Mode in Shapeshifter).
The 8 bit mode is supported tooo. And should be faster
in most situations.

Nice board, wish I had an Amiga to use one on!  ;-)

(although if there's ever another batch of AGA boards, I might just have to get another A1200 to use it on!)

Maybe there is a new version coming out within the next few months and they want to get rid of remaining stock of this version?

That's the angle I'm coming from. ;)

It looks like the Indivision output is better than the 3000's VGA, then?
