Nightlong?

Is this game any good?  Will it work on a 'stock' A3000 with Picasso II rev1?  (and OS 3.9).  It seems those are the minimum requirements, but the recommended requirements are higher, of course.

Try here

Thanks, just sent them an email to see if it's still available.  Some of these websites haven't been updated in many years.

the game of course is AGA and RTG, but on RTG it should be faster.
AGA version require very fast processor like the fastest 68040 or 68060 and much RAM.

It is good, yes. Point-and-click adventure game so if you're into those you'll like it. Played it a long time ago on my a4k.

I have a copy if you didn't have any luck receiving it yet...but whereabouts are you? (I'm in UK) so I would have to factor in shipping to the cost. (and what would you pay for it?)

OK, so I bought a used copy of Nightlong, but I've run into a couple of problems.  The first problem is a read error on CD#1.  The CD actually looks very clean (nearly pristine), so I'm going to try an older CD drive that I have in storage and/or try to clean the CD drive I'm currently using.

But assuming I get past that problem, I still think I'm in trouble.  I'm running OS3.9 with 16 MB on my A3000.  The game installation is going to require 15 MB free memory for the RAM disk usage, but OS 3.9 uses more than 1 MB (at least my set-up does).  Is there some way to conserve/allocate memory in OS 3.9??

It must be an impressive game but i never got my hands on one. Back in the day, i remember the review of Amiga Active and there was a reference about some possible problems. Take a look at page 51 here:

http://amr.abime.net/issue_1081_pages

Also, take a look here

http://hol.abime.net/977

and see if any of the patches are any good for your problem.
