Having a power cord is a big plus for selling vintage computers.

For example this IIGS has separate picture of the power cord
http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-Apple-Mac-IIGS-II-GS-A2S6000-Computer-w-Power-Cord-1989-/390394509377
and it is mentioned in the title

Doesn't matter if it works or not. IT HAS POWER CORD.

I see a lot of items with Power cord description.

Are the power cords something very R@Re for the vintage collectors? If yes, I will list my basement full with power cords of all genres, including Pravetz power cords.

@Iggy

As if there was something that could actually give Scambay a worse reputation than it already has....

What we\'re witnessing is the sad, lonely crowing of that last, doomed cock.

I got an email from eBay as I had bid on it stating that the item had been removed and that the account hodler was not at fault.

Hey, the scammer can't be all bad.  At least he recognizes that Amiga is cool!

If you look at the other items he's currently selling it must amount to somewhere near a hundred thousand dollars, very very suspicious!

Yes and most items have the don't bid graphic... which is a violation of the terms of service for posting an auction.... Amazing ebay is letting that go...

The real seller sold this A4000T last year. The same fraudster has been hacking into seller accounts and listing it--the picture and description were obviously pulled from the original listing. Don't bid on it!!!. Click on the report item link on the listing and report it to ebay.
A2500 owned since 1993 with A2630/DKB 2632, DKB Megachip, GVP EGS Spectrum, A2320 and GVP HC+8 on the inside and a DCTV on the outside. A4000D with CSPPC, Cybervision 64 and a Flicker Magic flicker fixer. A4000T Toaster Flyer & CSMKII. All systems completly retro and classic and mostly used to do geometic art as in my avatar.

Here is the original listing from the original seller:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ultimate-Amiga-4000T-Loaded-/190570703013?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&nma=true&si=tToPwofhwqY08wU18sVl1vKc1FI%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

And here is the the thread about it with the reaction to the sale price and the fraud that followed. It's been popping up every few months since then:

Yeah, bad penny that one.

Nor is it an Ultimate except in waste of RAM. Ultimate means to me a PCI solution, a PPC, USB, and modern OS.

The listing it removed now. it is strange, people find it funny to hack websites and do something like this, they could maybe use there "talent" to something else.

I'm quite sure fun is not what they seek.
They mainly seek money.
