Amiga Gaming Remakes - New Series on Amiga.org
« on: February 27, 2012, 07:30:58 PM »
Amiga Gaming Remakes is a brand new service on Amiga.org and will cover the very fashionable trend of remaking and or rereleasing famous Amiga games on modern platforms. Sometimes this will just be a News link like the two games covered today, other times we will get interviews with the developers themselves or do a diary of an upcoming game release. Today's focus is on two new games based on famous Amiga originals.

Pity the Syndicate reboot has as much to do with the original as a doorknob.

Yeah, I didn't want to say anything, but to be part of the modeling/animation team that worked on it, wow!

The cannon fodder 3 seems quite fun but the syndicate remake seems like any of the 9999 FPS games out there.

Original Amiga Game = Carrier Command

HOL Database

Remake = Carrier Command Gaea Mission

Review = N/A still in development

Website =  http://www.carriercommand.com/

YouTube = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJMbtdAFVDY

From the game play video it appears to be very faithful to the original.

Yeah, we should be teaching kids that brainwashing hordes of minions into doing the killing for them is really the way to go.
