Nice custom made Amiga case
« on: February 17, 2012, 01:59:59 PM »
By accident I stumbled upon this page:

http://www.fantasi.se/history.php

Might be old news for you ppl, but I was really amazed by the effort that went into it. I especially liked the part where an old car stereo was adapted to serve as a C64 datasette (yes there is a c64 in there, too).

Really impressive work!

Translation here:

Yeah okay, its not a great looking front, but the paint job is excellent.

Damn, he's certainly gone to some effort to do all that. :)

Nice result.

More than just a case mod. His case modding was very much like the old Eyetech towers, but he did go a whole lot further. Great stuff and worthy of some kudos.
Falling into a dark and red rage.

Thanks for the nice words!
It has taken quite some time to do everything but obviously it was done over several years starting with just a few small hacks in the desktop to the complete makeover as can be seen on the page.
There's a lot more to do but over the last couple of years I haven't had much time for this project. Hopefully I will be able to come back to it sometime.

Glad you liked it!
/Jesper
