A GIANT Leap of faith... On EBay.
« on: February 10, 2012, 01:57:30 AM »
My latest purchase... :)

http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=200709044176&index=0&nav=WON&nid=13977051304&trxId=0

It is NTSC. Hopefully it works. I'd like to use this with my SuperGen +, Chroma Key+, and my other various Amiga video hardware that wouldn't work with my PAL 600.

It seems a bit much for an A600 but at least it looks good. Have fun with your new Amiga  :)

You're a crazy man (and you outbid some others too).  It looks to be in very nice shape.  Is it NTSC or PAL?  Let us know if it works!

Isn't Leo the guy from the company that shall not be mentioned here?

WOW, that's a lot for A600, this one better work for you.
I got mine with ACA630, it's a completely different machine compared to the stock. The ACA cost me more then the A600, but it was worth it.
Good luck.

I had bid up to $200.

I know it's a lot, but I have an 030, flicker fixer, and all that for it. And besides, it's NTSC. I NEED that for my video production hardware. That was my plan from the get go, to use it all with a 600, but my other 600 was a PAL unit (didn't you give me that one?), so I can't use it with my NTSC hardware for which reason I'm going to dedicate it as a MIDI controller.

It was not me, I think it was DigiView stuff.
Anyway, it better work for that price, I know that you have an A2000 from Ebay with problems.

The A600 arrived just before work. I fired it up, and so far all seems well!! I'll test the keyboard, ports, and floppy drive this evening.
