To make it short: it works and it does what is is intended for. But you have to read the description carefully so that you don't expect something it cannot do: it is not an USB mouse adapter, it is a PS/2 mouse adapter with an USB connector. This means you can only use a mouse which can still "talk" PS/2. Many USB mice can do this, bot not all. To be sure you should buy one which comes with such a little green USB-PS/2 adapter.
