68-blank, 68-0-10/20/30/40/60, 68-3-28, 68-8-82 etc.
When speaking English I say "oh" for -0-, in Norwegian and German I say "null", and in a rush I drop the 68. Remember once I talked to a mac guy who spoke the "30 processor" in his mac, I really didn't understand what the heck he was talking about :)

Silly british. :D

Never "eighty oh eighty six".

Maybe because there never was a 80086? :hammer:

I say 80-86, 80-88, 80-1/2/3/4/5/6-86, 80-3-87 etc, most oftenly dropping 80-.

I call them oh-three-oh (or sixty-eight oh-three-oh, if I'm feeling formal), but I'm curious to hear what others say :)

Obviously there will be some linguistic differences due to the many countries represented here. Please share pronunciations in your local language, too!

I go with:

Generic:
Sixty-Eight-Kay

Shorthand:
Oh-three-oh (etc)

Formal:
Six-Eight-Oh-Three-Oh

but then I'm weird...
Mac Mini G4 (1.5GHz, 64MB VRam, 1GB Ram): MorphOS 3.6
Powerbook 5.8 (15", 1.67GHz, 128MB VRam, 1GB Ram): MorphOS 3.8.

Windows-free since 2011-2014 (Damn you Netflix!)

Completely off topic, but I sure wish I could find more old Land Rovers around these parts that aren't stripped of engines and used as some stationary prop in the African section of zoos.

Carry on :D

When happens to think/speak in english (since I'm italian) I'm used to say -zero-twenty/thirty/forty/sixty (because in italian the 'oh' is pronounced 'zero', since it's a number.  :)

For the father of the family, a plain sixty-eight-thousand; but sometimes happens when I read to say 'sixty-eight-k' in my mind... :D  .

The "acht-en-zestig duizend" (eight-and-sixty thousand) - Dutch isn't that 'abbreviative' like English :)
And the canary said: \'chirp\'

In Spanish, the language Amiga name comes from, it's like this:

68K: Sesenta y ocho mil
68020: Cero veinte
68030: Cero treinta
...
68060: Cero sesenta

In Italian:

"sessantotto zero trenta" (68030) or simply "zero trenta"

or "sessantottomila trenta"

Amiga 1200 = Amiga mille e duecento
Amiga 500 = Amiga cinquecento
Amiga 600 = Amiga seicento

But in English I say: oh-thirty and sometimes sixty eight zero thirty
