Which is better and WHY?  I will use them with hardware decoding (MasPlayer) and will play from CD, HD, and streaming from the web.

I'm always using Amplifier and never had a single issue with it.
So far I have used it in my:
- A600 with MAS-Player decoding MP3 and AHI Paula output,
- A4000 with Delfina decoding MP3, and AHI Delfina output,
- A4000 with 060 decoding MP3, and AHI ESS-Solo-1 output.

AmigaAMP is PowerUP/WarpUP compatible though (via plugins) and also has support for MAS-Player as well.

Why don't use both and use the one that suits you better? :D

On the flipside, I've always used AmigaAMP since the first versions that supported PPC boards.
