Update of the Amiga games list
« on: January 12, 2012, 06:25:09 AM »
The Amiga Games List maintained by David "Daff" Brunet since April 1991 was updated in early 2012 with its 41st edition. The total reached 11,609 entries as follows:

10538 games
900 extensions or data discs,
130 game/level editors,
41 interpreters.

In this edition, games that runs on this special Amiga hardware were added :  Indivision ("Ind"), American Laser Games ("ALG"), Sente ("Sente"), Nova ("Nova"), Grand Products ("GP"), Web Picmatic ("WP").

The entry for Worm Wars is wrong; it says it is RTG-only but in fact it will also run on an ICS/OCS/ECS/AGA system.

Don't feel bad Minuous.  When I released Total Chaos 7 he deleted Total Chaos 6 right out of the list.  When I released Total Chaos 6 he deleted Total Chaos 5. etc.

So in the list it looks as if Total Chaos 7 sprang up out of thin air without being a sequel to any of the predecessors.

Each game in the series had different memory requirements and there are certain ppl who insist on only playing an ancient TC3 (for example) because they lack the memory for a later edition.  Or because of HD space.  Or because of chipset requirements.

Sometimes ppl write me emails asking for the highest one that could still be played on an expanded A500, or ....

It would be nice if all this info was included in the list like it is with every other Amiga game.

Strangely, when Ultima 4 came out he did not delete Ultima 3 out of the list and when Ultima 5 came out he did not delete Ultima 4.

The world wonders.
Wanna try a wonderfull strategy game with lots of handdrawn anims,
Magic Spells and Monsters, Incredible playability and lastability,
English speech, etc. Total Chaos AGA
