« on: January 09, 2004, 07:02:34 PM »
Hi All,
What is the latest version of OPUS that I can use on my A-2000 running on OS 3.9?  Does it have all the latest software with it to open the different compression Formats?

here it´s DOPUS 5.65 Magellan.
to handle archives, you just have to configure OPUS - the standard formats are supported w/o configuration.
-> every compression format can be opened (as long as you can find the binary to handle the format)

Directory Opus 5.82 Magellan II is the latest one and works on all configs, from 3.0 till 3.9. And there is also XADopus.module, which uses xadmaster.library for listing/extracting files. You doubleclick on a packed file, it opens up a lister where you can see the files and even watch/see/check/read them manually. Or you can extract the ones you wish by just copying it over to the target lister.

Btw, xadmaster.library can depack 124 types of archiver types, like: lha/lzx/zip/rar/ace/PAK (quake pak file) etc...

Quiet good imo! :)
