I know this may just be a joke, but I am not sure which point you are trying to make, or who you are trying to make fun of, Amiga Inc., or the members here that love to complain about anything and jump at every opportunity?

It is discouraging that someone involved in running this place would start yet another thread to give members another opportunity to vent their frustrations.  I thought we already had enough of that here.

Maybe I am just in the wrong place now, after participating on these forums for many years.  I am sure there are some here that would be glad to see me leave :flame::destroy:

Then I guess any traffic here is better than less traffic, from an owner's point of view.
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)

I treat the threads here at A.org like I watch tv, if it is of interest to me then I"ll tune in, but otherwise I'll watch something else.  The opinions of the members here are many and I just choose to respect those opinions.  But, it is poor form to negatively spark continued controversy of a subject that is just so tired and beat to death.

amigadave, lets go tune in elsewhere!  :)

Really to answer that question you would of had to have experienced vice-grips applied to your private parts at some point.

I'm afraid I just can't answer...

Where did you find someone to do that? Craigslist?

I took it more as a tongue in cheek way to simply say something to the effect of, "sheesh guys, the last 10 years really havent been handled like they should have been" (to put it diplomatically :)).

Unfortunately cos of the frustration that very thing has caused amongst people within the userbase, people probably dont always express themselves like they would in real life (I hope this is true at least :)) so certain topics/subjects on amiga forum sites are always going to be a little,....err,... irrational.

It's gotten to a point that some people, who arent really deliberately trying to stir people can make a pre-emptive defense during conversations, and end up causing an arguement themselves with people who arent even saying what is being defended against. Amigaworld.net and some OS4 users in particular Ive had problems with this. I sort of understand though, OS4 does cop a bit of a flogging there sometimes :) It's just a bit annoying that it's come to that.

Just my 2 cents, even if it did stray from the topic a bit :)

Oh, and as for the actual question neither are close to fun, but surely there's very few things in life that would make you pick "privates in a vice" over the other option ?   :)

Near as I can tell this is where I write something under the guise of being innocuous, but really its a pot shot at another persons/peoples choice of Amiga based systems. Unfortunately only I cant see how transparent and petty it makes me look.
