Backbone installed now what?

Hi all i have backbone installed on my miggy but have not got the foggiest as where to start? Does anyone have any tutorials hints and tips for making a game as i just dont know where to start? My plan is to make a mario clone platformer but i just dont know what i should be doing any help is appreciated :)
A1200T: M1230XA 50Mhz 68030 w/64mb,DVDRom, 80gb hdd, Realtek LAN Card, Mediator LT4 + Radeon 9250 128mb(used for fast ram), Spider USB Card, Voodoo 3 3000 OS 3.9 +bb 1-3

you can download Rebels Sonic and see what makes that tick.

how would i find out what makes it kick ? ive never done anything like this before?

Hiya. If you download Rebel's Sonic pack, which is a LHA file, you just need to extract it to your hard drive somewhere. It actually includes Backbone and all the files you need to build the Sonic game, so once it's extracted you would open the drawer and run Backbone, then open a project from the menu and select the Sonic project.

From there you can edit the levels, blocks and objects, and compile the game from the menu.

If you downloaded the full Backbone package as well as the example games there is a tutorial included as well as a bunch of example graphics and objects you can use to make your own games.
