It would help a lot if you told us which scandoubler it is :-) If you can't read it on the device, try looking it up at www.amiga-hardware.com.

How 'bout scanning the instructions and I'll try to translate? (or a native German....).

Looking at the A1200 motherboard from above, with the rear connectors at the top, and the front edge at the bottom:

1. The two boards clip over the Lisa and Alice chips, with the ends of the cable (the cable which connects the two boards) facing each other.
3. The socket on the first board (the board that the VGA cable connects to) goes on top of the LISA chip (391227), with the VGA connector facing the rear edge of the A1200.
4. The socket on the second board goes on top of the ALICE chip (391010).
5. Push the boards onto the chips until they snap on with a "click"!

Difficult to explain without a diagram!

Steve.

I had a FlickerMagicT in my A1200T (and have ordered another one for my new A1200T I am building).  I have a photo of it in the tower and you can just make out enough detail that it might help you.  Note the lite-blue wire connecting the two parts.

I love how the conveniently "forget" to tell you that after installasion in the A1200 the HD cradle won't fit... I had to make a custom one for my A1200.

The A1200 package should include a special cradle I think.
