Not yet, but maybe this spring? Who knows...

Not much is known about it AFAIK. Most people (me included) seems to assume it's based on the 5121e chip from Freescale, in other words the "LimeBook" (or rather "LimePC") in some incarnation (of which you can search on morphzone.org (a couple of years back) for some additional info).

At AmiWest, Steven Solie announced that Hyperion, the company that develops AmigaOS, has a PowerPC netbook which is already running AmigaOS4.

There are a few details in one thread on amigaworld from approximately October 23, 2011.

Not much has been released in public.  There have been some rumours and speculation and polls.

Since Netbooks are *all about SoC's*, the Key Information would be the CPU.

And in the PPC architecture (OS4 isn't about to change CPU architecture, right?), a "netbook" (that is *already existing*) could only mean the MPC5121e CPU, and the only Netbook kind of platform built on this, is the LimePC. It does come under different brands though, like that South African thing, or cherrypal (but that was a NetTop/Cloud Computer), but it's still is a LimePC though (again: Search MorphZone.org for "LimePC" for more info)...

Maybe it is a netbook with the PA-semi emulated in Intel Atom dual CPU architecture.

What a f***** tease this title is.  UPDATE (in caps) and no question mark in the title.

Mods should change the title of this empty thread.

I agree, all those little wasted times add up, should not happen on
sophisticated graybeard sites like this. :hammer:

Hope everyone had a nice Christmas weekend. :)

It was intentional.  Worked out quite nicely.  Thanks for trying to make a contribution.
