Hello, i'm afraid you'd have to be a bit more specific, as a 500, 600 or 1200 have different trapdoor expansions.. :)

I'm not sure I follow, the trapdoor is an edge connector in the A1200... The only way to replace it is a new motherboard :-/

I'm guessing it's about the connector on the expansioncard. AFAIK these connectors are very hard to come by nowadays.

It still pains me to look at an A1200 trapdoor pinout and see the 8 reserved pins where A25-A31 should have been :(

Yes, Vesalia and amigakit are selling a brand new amiga 1200 expansion, The new ACA-1231/42, so I'm thinking that the connector is still in production somewhere. But I can't find it. Any ideas?

thank you :)

Every now and then, I have seen them pop up in ebay.

Just search them as "150 pin card edge connector"
Just be carefull to select the one that has proper pitch (separation between pins), and correct layout.

In the past I have seen some at about $15 each.

Another solution is to contact Jens Schoenfeld at Individual Computers, and ask him if he could sell you some of his stock.

Good luck
