RecentDock
« on: November 23, 2011, 04:26:55 PM »
I started working on a AmiDock dock to keep a list of my recently opened documents/projects. I'm not really a coder so it's all been done through shell scripts and is a little limited but, overall, I'm fairly happy with it. As such, I figured I'd make it available to others to try out. Here's a snapshot:

However, I don't have any experience making Installer scripts and the installation is a little more complicated than simply copy a few files into the appropriate places (for example, the AmiDock xml file and ContextMenu.cfg file need to be modified without ruining the user's previous configurations).

If someone would like to volunteer creating an Installer script for me (as well as, perhaps, betatesting RecentDock in the process), please contact me and I will send you the necessary files along with a description of how to manually install it. Thank you.

That looks like a very handy tool - similar to the stacks in OSX 10.5+. I'm no good with Installer scripts, but I'm happy to assist with testing.

Sure. PM me with an email that I can send the files and instructions to.

*** UPDATE ***

Thanks to Chris Young / Unsatisfactory Software, an Install script has been made and I've now uploaded RecentDock to OS4Depot! Enjoy.

Oo, sorry I didn't get back to you earlier - this fell off my radar entirely. Will give the OS4 Depot package a try now.
