BlizzardPPC scsi not working. Is it related to flashrom?
« on: November 18, 2011, 06:34:58 PM »
My friend has got a BlizzardPPC 060 - 240 with scsi

Although he never used a scsi hdd, he might start using it.

The problem is this: In the past he did a flash update after that scsi started to not show up in the early boot menu.

I remembered that you had to hold S to disable scsi before doing a flash update and he said he never did such a thing. (I remember reading it from the readme and I did it although my BlizzardPPC did not have onboard scsi)

Could the blizzppc.device got erased from the flashrom somehow because he did not hold S before doing the flashrom update? Is it possible that scsi comes back if he update the flashrom with the necessary file once again?
