even though i meanwhile think c combined asm is the actually the most realistic option.
also there are 68k amiga compilers for c++ if neccassary, even though this language is not exactly the optimal choice here.

Choice of language isnt really important to begin with.
Best results can be obtained by people using what they know best. ASM isnt going to be a better choice than even AMOS if someone can only code in AMOS. In fact this very thread has made me want to use AMOS, just to prove a point

What is most important for now is that people are dedicated and see thier efforts through to the end.

I was going to mention Hollywood as well, but I actually think that amiblitz is one of the better choices, since alot of stuff is easy to do with amiblitz.
