** Updated price... $999.95 w/o OS 4.1 or $1100 with OS 4.1. Price is + shipping.**
Decided to sell my Relec "The Red One" Amiga Computer so I can afford the X1000 that is coming out.
My Relec is like new, just purchased new from Relec this year, and used since March to learn Amiga OS in preparation for the X1000.
Therefore, this will be just like buying it new as I have very few hours of use on this system.
For those not familiar with Relec, they are a swiss company that sells Amiga computers. In my feeling, the best one out there as they make cases that have tons of Amiga flavor and not some generic PC case.
This "The Red One" case has a sweet boing ball on the case. Super small, super powerful, super quiet. It is SAM 440ep based and I sprang extra money for the larger 500GB hard drive. Includes everything that came with it when I purchased it manual and box wise, including Amiga OS 4.1 on CD. I also upgraded to the slot load DVD/CD Rom.
The system is booting Amiga OS 4.1 Update 2 right now. Runs and looks new. Comes with the sweet Relec Carry Case as seen in the picture too so you can transport the system from show to show.
As an extra, I will throw in the brand new unopened wireless card I purchased from Amigakit that I never got around to installing as I was happy with the ethernet connection at my desk. Thought I would buy the card though in case I ever took with me to a show and wanted to access wireless.
Paid tons of $ but selling cheaper than what I paid for it so the Relec finds a new home. I am in USA so you USA folks don't need to spend an arm and a leg for shipping like I did.
This model will for sure become a collectors item as Relec no longer sells these and they are out of stock at Relec. Super cool little system.
Will sell for $1200 shipped in USA lower 48. All other locations you will need to pay extra for shipping. If you do not need OS 4.1, then I will reduce the price down to $1100.
See their website for pricing and you will see this is a sweet deal. Especially when I am throwing in the wifi card also. Relec web site has all the goodies and specs on this system right here at this link:
