the director and cando
« on: October 28, 2011, 03:02:45 AM »
dear friends:

i was just checking youtube and was impressed to find out
defender of the crown 2 for cdtv and also that it was programmed
by Jim Sachs using the 'director'v2.
I did not know the director can make such an amazing game !!!
Question: will it be hard to learn to code a game like defender of
the crown 2 using the 'director' for amiga ?and is there a v2
of director for amiga available ?
Next : can cando make a game for amiga like defender of the crown ?
And, will it be hard to learn ?
Love you all !!!

CanDo can be used to make point-and-click games and other applications.  I think it is worth trying if you have it.  I have it and would like to expand upon it myself.

I hope someday I will write something like AmigaVision or CanDo and will be able to import the old CanDo stacks and so on.  One thing I'd like to do differently than CanDo and AmigaVision, and that is to make it modular so that it can be expanded.
