BerliOS project-hosting service to close
« on: October 03, 2011, 06:08:58 PM »
BerliOS has announced that it will close by the end of the year due to an inability to maintain financial sustainability. They advise developers to export to another host as soon as possible. For more information, see the homepage.

AHI is one of the projects hosted at BerliOS.

What is good alternative these days? Sourceforge.net is always down or broken so it is out of question.

@ itix

I first saw the story at Slashdot, so maybe something interesting will come up in their discussion thread. If not, maybe submit one of those "Ask Slashdot" posts they sometimes have?

Assembla looks good for open source projects but I did not use it very intensely yet. I am happy to know experiences. For my own git repositories I am using Gitorious.
