September 11 - 10 year anniversary
« on: September 10, 2011, 09:31:06 AM »
Well it's been 10 years since it happened. How's everyone doing?

My 2 cents on 7/11. I'm not trying to offend anyone here i'm just speaking my mind. My 2 cents is i don't really understand what the big deal is. Sure 3000 people died and that is horrible in itself but what separates this from the IRA in London or any other terrorist attack i don't know. Why does this attack get so much attention? Seems like an awful lot of attention for only 3000 people. I'm confused. That was my opinion 10 years ago and i didn't understand the significance of it then and i still don't today. Again sorry if i offended anyone here.

What does everyone else think?

Kesa, the attack got attention because of the scale of the attack, and because of where it happened.

Please try to separate the event itself from the events that followed from it. 3000 people dying is not a small number. The issue many have with the 9/11 terrorist attack come from how it was used to justify outlandish actions (two wars, Patriot Act, Guantanamo Bay, etc...). This use of 9/11 is not the fault of the people who died, it is the fault of the politicians.

However, on the 10 year anniversary of 9/11, it is not the politicians we should remember, but rather the victims of the attack. I hope you understand why this is, if not then please ask.

This thread should be moved to the coffee house.

Personally, I'm sick of hearing about September 11. People blow this out of proportion. I get the feeling that it's main impact on most people's lives is that it's an excuse to get all emotional about something for people who have a whole lot of nothing going on in their lives.

As terrible as it was, it pales into insignificance compared to even the most cautious and conservative estimates of the human cost of all that has happened since.

That is pretty shocking :(

The thing that gets me is that all those people die and no one seems to care much but when Americans die the whole world is forced to stop and morn. I think thats why i don't want to see it as a significant event because if i do i feel like i would be confirming that Americans are of a higher sentience than say, people from the middle east. Which is nonsense.

You're looking at it wrong, you don't have to choose to mourn one over the other, you can mourn both.

As a former resident of north Jersey, I can tell you that it's had a profound impact on me.  My best friend's father was on the 100th floor of WTC2 (first tower to be hit) and we all assume was instantly vaporized.  I saw those towers smoking from my town across the water, and those images mean a lot more to me than I would expect them to mean to a lot of people.

Case in point:  since then, I've gone overseas five times and fought in two wars, and I'm not even 30 years old.

On the flip side, I'm pretty sick of hearing about it as well.  It defines me as a person now to a large degree.  The thing to keep in mind about those numbers of killed/wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan is that troops over there are basically adding to those numbers like a "drop in the bucket" - those people are killing each other at an EXTREMELY high rate.  The way I've seen grown men treat one another in those countries with total disregard for life is one of the most disgusting things I've ever had to witness.

I woke up the morning of 9-11 in Florida. What I saw on TV I could not believe, I could not put my finger on it at the moment, but something did not sit well...

...I stepped outside and walked down the road. I saw G.I.'s standing in the back of their pick up trucks waving flags and this and that (as if the culprit had already been found without any prior investigation). There was certainly a change in the air, and my gut did not tell me that it was one for the better.

Since then I've had a chance to sit back and ponder what I saw on the TV screen that morning. I've been able to download nearly ever network's broadcast from the day of and the day after, not to mention a slew of videos that have been produced since then. Propaganda pieces, Conspiracy Theory videos, videos designed to debunk conspiracy video's,  Demolition Videos, Videos about the Building of the Towers, The Commission Report, The Popular Mechanics analysis, etc. etc. etc. Which have at this point led me to the very same conclusion that my gut was telling me on the very first day....

The road ahead is not a good one, this event would be and was designed to be used as a catalyst to further erode not only the sovereignty of the United States (previously America), but also the sovereignty of all other nations and more importantly, individuals, families, and tribes. All in the name of a noun, "terrorism". And the thing about war against nouns and that they can continue indefinitely, and anyone who does not conform to "party think" can be accused. And all this will be done in the name of Freedom, and in the name of "the people"...

...same as it ever was. Herd the sheep into the cave for the slaughter:

And I just sit back and watch things unfold as if someone in some very high place was trying ever so hard to make the Book of Revelation (amongst other prophecies/blue prints) unfold.

So the second plane hit at 9:02
I saw it live on a hotel tv, talking on my cell with you
You said this would happen, and just like that, it did
Wrong about the feeling, wrong about the sound
But right to say we would stand down

An hour went by without a fighter in the sky
You said there’s a reason why
So tell me now, i must confess
I’m not sick enough to guess

Sit back and enjoy a whole new perspective on 9/11.

The day all that happened back when I was in High School, I immediately noticed something fishy about the way the towers collapsed. Figured I was insane for even thinking it was a planned demolition.  Believe what you want, but It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure things out for yourself.

My thoughts and prayers out to the families affected by the event...... Nobody deserves to be the target of such events...

And under no circumstances either. Tis truly sad that so many were sacrificed for such a Satanic Scheme.

Having watched these videos and seen other strange events associated with the number "9" and "11", I have to ask,"what is the significance of these two numbers, is it something Occult related?"

Please watch through, and please keep in mind I'm not trying to establish a concrete conspiracy theory, I'm just trying to exploit irony and LOTS of it!

The tenth anniversary date will be 11-9-11.

This its a wet dream for these numerology obsessed satanists responsible for the attacks.  Don't be surprised if there is another attack this year!

its a curious psychological experiment if you one of those people stuck in the buildings from when they were hit till the point they collapsed. I wonder what i would have done knowing the buildings were about to collapse within the hour - jump out of one of the windows or wait to be pulverized when the buildings collapse? If i had to choose one or the other not sure which i would choose.

PS the whole idea of satanic worship was created by hollywood. 666 came from a movie anyway (i think)  :madashell:

I was also born on friday the 13th!
