C= 2091 SCSI Card RAM question

Wondering if it matters how I populate the RAM in one of these. I've only got 1MB worth and am thinking either two rows starting at the top or two columns starting at the left.

Yes, it does matter. It can be configured as .5, 1.0, or 2 megs of ram. As I recall they are 256x4 dram 120ns or faster.  Here is more info. You should be able to work out the banks by looking at the "U" numbers representing the IC sockets on the schematic.
