Isn't there some dentist using 4.1 on an AmigaOne somewhere?

I think Ferrule Media uses AmigaOS 4.1 and SAM machines from Acube to power their "Dental Kanal" software (http://www.ferrule-media.no/dental-kanal.html). There should be some dentists around using this software. :)

As a web master i often use DPaint to make simple animations (i turn them into animGIF's or import into flash). It's been awhile but i've also used ImageFX to do things like lightning effects. Last year i used Distant Suns 4 to make some realistic sky backgrounds showing constellations, moon phases etc...

I use my Amiga for web site development as well but I have RTG. I use ImageFX, TVPaint, and PPaint for graphics. Each has their advantages and disadvantages.

Use an A1200HD with 060 and 32MB RAM. To transfer files to my PC i use a modem to FTP the files to my web server then i FTP from server down to PC.

Have you considered getting a PCMCIA network card? Then you could use smbfs which works great here. I can copy between my Amiga and laptop directly and quickly. The latest version is NOT on aminet...

I use FTPmount to copy to the web site via FTP. It creates a FTP device. Very convenient...

@Puni/Void

Yes, Ferrule Media designed the software in Hollywood.  I believe it was also compiled for the iPad.

I still use Dpaint, Personal Paint and imageFX for artwork for videogames (Wii, DS,mobile and PSP). I don't use it for Xbo360/PS3 (so for low bit depth stuff really). A lot artists I've worked with still use either WinUAE or actual Amiga's on their desks. I use it in conjunction with photoshop and promotion. It's another tool in the arsenal.
