After scouring the net all I could find was this... :(

DOS 2 DOS info...

Ok, it's in some kind of foreign language and it only seems to be a magazine article but it's about the most info I could find anywhere on the net about DOS2DOS... :)

Now all you need to do is figure out what langauge it's in and then learn how to read the language and maybe, just maybe you might get a clue for it or it'll point you to somewhere you can find the manual... :)

Not much help I know but this thread looked awfully lonely without any replies... :(

Ooooh it's quiet round ere... :nervous:

Slovak... but since it was Czechoslovakia just a few decades ago, they are very similar languages :)

Edit: On second check, it even says "slovak" in the upper right corner with the country flag :)

Yep - first lines dirty translation via Google, czech:
Without the knowledge transfer from PC to Amiga, many users can not do either. But since both computers use a variety of formats floppy disks, you must use this in any way for the best program and others who are doing this activity was protected.

@Franko
Thanks much. That's more than I could find after about two hours of searching. Now if I can just translate it....
I'll have to keep this darned bird away from my Amiga manuals!

Well, Google doesn't like this page - it just spits out the original again. That's loads of help...

google only translates the text on the page.
The text that you want to translate is inside a scanned jpg image, so thats why.

The best option would be to use some good OCR software to get the text from the image.
Then paste the text into a translation service such as google.

I just did a quick try at free-ocr.com (free online service) , but for some reason when I select slovak language for the OCR, the processing fails. I did manage to upload and process it when selecting czech language, but the result was not the best.
Here is what the resulting text from google translate looks like:

I haven't been able to find an OCR that will work on this image either. Your translation seems to be enough to jog my memory though. Thank you for the post.

My old OCR soft failed miserably, so what I translated I wrote by hand - at least those e's and c's of the original are hard to separate.

I did some cut and paste on the image, so that I was able to OCR the document in smaller parts. It seems that some OCR software have trouble when there are many columns, and I suspect that different fonts type and size also can cause problems.

Here is the best I could make out of it, I hope it is a bit more readable.
(If there was somebody on the forum that can read Slovakian they might be able to help out with the missing words)
