AmiNet FIle searches
« on: December 31, 2003, 01:02:03 AM »
Is there any way to search AmiNet and get it to
 show the date the file was uploaded?

Sometimes I get lists of multiple items that perform
 the same task, but I'd like to try the newer ones first.

Thanks

The date is displayed as a number. I think higher numbers mean more recent files but I'm not sure.
I agree that a better system to show the date should be used. I've had the same problem.

AFAIK the number in the AGE column within the Aminet archive counts how old the file is in terms of days. That would be the lower the number, the more recent the file.

@scholle
Allmost ....

It's in weeks  :-o
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else
