What the smeg is going on with this site ?

I know Im risking wasteing my time yet again typing this, but Im not sure what else to do. Basically for the last week or so more posts I make here are being deleted/vanishing than not. Can anyone elaborate as to why please ? As thing stand I just dont see the point in using what was until recently my favorite amiga site if more than half of anything I type is going to vanish. It's not just one or 2 particular threads either, nor have the vanishing posts been in any way aggressive or offensive. Perhaps coincidently though it's started happening after I complained about having some posts deleted where I shared sentiments with people who posted after me (whose posts didnt get deleted).

Near as I can tell this is where I write something under the guise of being innocuous, but really its a pot shot at another persons/peoples choice of Amiga based systems. Unfortunately only I cant see how transparent and petty it makes me look.

Most likely a server issue rather than anything deliberate.

Why what's went missing this time (I haven't noticed any of your posts disappearing) and apart from the site running a lot smoother since the "big fix" I haven't lost a single post in the past few days myself... :)

I looked throug the logs to see if any of your postes were kicked and couldn't find anything.  Can you give a specific instance with thread and what you post # should have been (eve a range would help)?

Off the top of my head, today the AROS UFO:AI thread and yesterday (I think) the smurf icons thread. UFO:AI was either 2nd or 3rd post, the smurf icons one was roughly #15 I think. I can give further examples if you like?

I looked over the UFO:AI thread and didn't see any deleted posts. Are you sure they are getting sent properly? IE, are you redirected to the thread after hitting submit where you can see your post?
 
If so, can you see your post and then afterwards it disappears?

I used to be a glazier and I fixed broken ******* all the time, sometimes the ******* were broken by accident other times the ******* where broken by hooligans... :(

But I loved me job repairing broken ******* and now here I am not even allowed to mention the fact that I used to earn a living repairing *******... :(

What next... wont we be able say... ******** or ***** or **** ***** ****** even... :(

it's just lucky for me that us Scots pronounce ******* as windays at least I can say that... :)

PS: That means I can tell any more stories about peeking through auld Mrs Johnstones ******* from across the road... :(

Maybe not... maybe Billy Boy Grates has bought all rights to the word ******* and now no-one can say it any longer... :eek:

That means if you were to say some like "I was looking out my ******* the other day"...

you'd have to say instead...

"I was looking out my molten quartz sand & a few additives the other day"

Could open up a whole new way of speaking this could... :)
