There are a few sites relating to the project.  Here is one:

"Alexh" would be a main contact to get you started.

Never ever thought I'd see one of these Sound Cards; - Goodness me! :)

Actually, Carolyn Scheppner of CATS was a great resource back in the day!  Brilliant woman.

Ah yes, I remember the eab.abime.net thread.  I also remember running into it right after Cosmos had pulled his patch because some ass goblin decided to turn around and sell it.

I thought it'd be really cool back before I was able to finally land my Cyberstorm MK I, and I have 128mb of ram on that, so even if I did the 3660 mod, I'd lose that, and the speed would be the same, I think.

Holy crap, for the price I expected it to be decked out in upgrades, PPC, etc.  But no, it's an A4000D.  Pretty much exactly like I bought a few years back for 400 bucks, though this one looks like it is cleaner than mine was, still need to whiten mine up a bit.

But still...

slaapliedje

Yeah a tad excessive. But it has been capped and is standard decked.  Could have had an SSD or CF Card kit though. Very clean. Someone has bid, so I guess that's what it's worth.

All my amiga needs are met with a stand alone machine setup up to boot directly into Amiga OS 4.1FE classic using the latest UAE. It by far faster than any real amiga I ever owned and works with everything I throw at it.

Does make me wish I save a few of my past machines. Still have my prototype AA3000 put away safe though.

This. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Commodore-Amiga-A4000-Computer-/201390813217?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276

Shot up to $1,725+.

To be fair to the seller he had it start at $500.

I don't see any reason why it should go any higher than $700-1,000 max (as it looks super clean).

Holy crap, that is a bit surprising. That's going to be at least $2,250 in Canadian $. It's a good time to be selling stuff from Canada, enjoy the haul! I bought a very similar A4000D locally advertised for $60 a few years ago - I offered $80 because I thought he was selling it too cheap. Feeling pretty good about that purchase right now :)

I do wonder when the market for these machines will crash as we all die off, apparently not yet!

I wouldn't say that's a true indicator of its value when it's only 2 bidders going back and forth starting at $550. Once they satisfy their needs we might see more "normal" prices again.

It is however a Rev D board which are a bit less common :)

he ? he ? he ?

Seriously, I...  I don't even know what to say about that.  It makes me want to post some obscure Amiga item on there for 1 million dollars, just so one of you all will find it, for the lulz.  ;)

Wow, someone got themselves a good deal.  I think this card was on ebay for all of 4 hours before someone snapped it up.  ;)

Haha, how many times a day do you hit "refresh" on your ebay Amiga search tabs?  ;)

Speaking of your hoard, you have any A2000 '060 accelerators kicking around up there that you might want to part with?
