Amiga 4000D with 040 and new caps just sold on eBay for $1,225 USD.  "New" floppy (likely DD), CF hard drive, 18 MB RAM, damaged MB with jumpered traces, and a Gotek drive.

First it was Title IX and now the world has gone mad!

Wow, I bought mine for 400 USD, and it has the HD floppy, no damage to the motherboard (except where the dude soldered a new barrel battery, he hit the corner of the memory slots.) it needed recapping, so it went to amigakit, and while there got shiny new simm slots as well.  I think that was another 100 or so with shipping.. So even 500 bucks...

Some people are delusional.  Though I could probably get maybe 2k out of my full rig... I wouldn't sell it, too much love put into it now.  :)

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe:

Wow, the cost of learning to program 90s style is now outside my budget.

It's definitely a real listing price.  Look at the seller: Better World Books with feedback approaching 10^6.  Want to test the seller's 60-day refund policy -- any takers?

According to his feedback he sold another for €5000.  I'm struggling to believe anyone would pay that much.  Previously I'd seen them typically being addvertised for £500-£700 which I still tend to is a lot for what you get.

Hope someone brings out a CD32 expansion soon,  ideally one with and FPGA and Apollo core.
