Back in the 1990's I had a 17" Princeton monitor that had that same shape and a weight of 56 pounds; it felt like a monster.  I finally gave it away to Goodwill hoping a user with a strong back would benefit (and took a few hundred bucks off my taxes).  My 1764 monitor seems to weigh less in the 30 to 40 pound range and isn't that long.

Good lord, look at the length of this thing! I bet it weighs like a million pounds. ;) Still, if someone is a stickler for those crappy old CRT's, isn't this the same thing as the AT M1764?  Just thought I'd share since you don't see 'em come up very often.

I have an IDEK iiyama MF-5017..for one of my setups.. love it!! heavy though.  Good thing I don't move it often.

As long as the CRT tubes had just 90 degree deflection they were huge especially if 17" or more. Luckily 100/110 ones were developed.

$2800 for a CD32. I nice CD32, with lots of upgrades, but yikes. Wonder if they're including all the scratches on the case in that price? ;)

Do you think he knows that by the time you add all that into the mix, you could have an A4000 with CSPPC and Mediator maxed to the Wazoo?

OMG,

The Darth Vader of Amigas:  http://www.ebay.com/itm/Amiga-4000d-040-NON-FUNZIONANTE-/301480188979?pt=Altro_Informatica&hash=item46319e9c33

Sadly, the price would be OK if the case were not ruined.

Looks like a ton of battery damage.  Hard to tell.  What the hell did they do, throw up on the case?  Ugh!  :(

Oh, the motherboard would cost more to repair than it is worth, but an intact case is hard to come by; the seller did, by the way, ruin any chance of selling the case due to his lack of working brain tissue.  I'm sure though that using one's brain as radiator keeps your head cool, especially if one is wearing a propeller beanie.

What did he do?  I was just barely thinking a black Amiga 4000D would be awesome, since I just saw that CD32 that had a black keyboard.  But I can't tell if this guy's case has some sort of plastic wrapping on top of it (kind of looks that way) but you can see where a monitor sat for a long time and left a mark.

Oddly, if it's just the 040 card, I have one sitting in my closet, but it is hard to tell if there is battery damage.  Plus, I already have one, which after making it less loud, and soon I should be getting my IDE killer soon, it's right where I want it :D

That CD32 for 2800 bucks... It seems I've seen 4000Ts going for about that much with everything in them.

There seems from the pics to have a whole IC chip missing to the left of the battery area.

So it does.  Pictures wouldn't make themselves big earlier.  Almost want to message the seller just to curse at him.  UGH.  :(

I believe that he's cursed himself.

[p.s., do those spots on the case cover look like semen?  I mean I get excited over Amigas, but not to that extent.]

Huge lot of vintage Mac and Apple stuff.  I know the IIGS's alone are worth more than this.  Wonder what this will go up to?  Man, what I wouldn't give to find a lot of Amiga stuff like this!  C'mon, I know some of you hoarders are going to die someday!  ;)
