"Collectors only."  Well, I suppose that justifies it.

I saw that listing to.   It was insanity for the price. I thought they would stop prices like that.

Maybe the shipping is a titanium box with a small contingent of SF  soldiers?

ROFL.  ;)

I've noticed a lot of $1000-ballpark A2000's on there lately, as well.  Seems like some people just don't want to get rid of their stuff, hopefully it doesn't wind up junked!

#side note - I want to falcon punch the next person who says "I can't test it because I don't have a monitor", especially for A3000's.  Plug the composite plug into your TV, you $@#)$@.  :(

In the nuts.  I'd bet half the time they know or are pretty certain the stuff doesn't work.  I bet there are a couple who legitimately don't have a TV.  The only reason I have a TV is the roomie, but even then two of my PC monitors have composite and S-video input.

There are other sites to buy from.  I guess it might not sell but if it does it might be crazy.

I hope their silver and gold in that  Amiga 1000.

I haven't had a tv in years;  I do have a Westinghouse 42" monitor that I watch video on from my Roku (mostly Netflix and Amazon).  The monthly cost of cable and Satellite were 10 fold higher.

Thats true for me too. Only thing I need Comcast for is their internet. If Verizon picks up their fiberoptic network then the better for customers. No competition no improvement.

if so, I have a candidate

250 bucks for a 1084 monitor?

Sweet, I think I've got one of those somewhere. I'll have to list it - I think I'd let it go for $200. Geez at that price I wonder what my CTX Multiscan would go for.

I think, Therefore - Amiga....

I don't know if this is legit or not, but it seems this item pops up from time-to-time.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=221142326995

Maybe it's the Apple-world equivalent to the ultra-mega-supreme A4000T?

Jes**.  I've got two of 'em that I'd give away for free (one working 1084S-D1, one not working 1084S-D2), both otherwise in good physical condition, yadda yadda), if someone was willing to drive to my area to get 'em.  Would be nice to at least get beer money for 'em, but it's not worth the hassle to list or try to ship (which is how the second one died).

Any takers, all you 1084 lovers on this site?  I might make you take an old dot matrix printer off my hands too though, LOL.  ;)
