The one I gave away didn't boot to a screen but NO BIGGIE 'cause you just know Mechy will get it going! The one here on ebay is nice though!

I recently grabbed one of these (hasn't arrived yet) but allegedly the guy couldn't get the keyboard or mouse working.  Any ideas?

...sounds like maybe you decided to give it away before ever checking what they go for on eBay?

@esc

IIRC the lock on the front switches off mouse and keyboard input so it could be as simple as that.

They really are quite heavy, and even taller than the A4000T.

I almost miss mine.

edit: strike that, I do miss it.  Next one that pops up on the local Craigslist is mine!

From the bottom of the bid page:

Please note:  I will not lower the price on this extremely rare Amiga computer.  If it does not sell this time, I will relist it two more times at the same price.  If it still does not sell, then I will just keep this computer.  The Amiga 3000T-040 is the rarest of all the Amiga computers that were sold ( yes, it is even rarer then the Amiga 4000T ), and less then 100 of them were produced worldwide.

DOOMY!!!!!:rant:

Yep!  It's the same guy who was selling that 64/3D card a bit ago.  Don't think he's going to get any bites this time around...:insane:

No, I knew what they go for (maybe not that much)... and how rare they are but "It's a MONSTER" of a machine. Besides, I'm still working on my other 3 machines to get them the way I want them. And after spending a small fortune on them I just didn't need another one. I even told Mechy that I might even just pull all the chips and toss it. Even thought about just nailing the motherboard to the wall here in the shop for a conversation piece. :lol: Also waiting for AmigaKit to get their Sam460EX systems in. Whoooops, there goes some more $$$ I don't really need to spend! :roflmao: I jsut thought someone else might have fun with it. Now I suppose he could turn it around for a helluva profit but who cares. He also promised to keep us updated on the fix progess. :)

I've never paid more than $40 for an A3000T, so I'm sure not gonna bid.

No, Doomy would have put that he would smash it to pieces if it didn't sell. Then again maybe he's getting soft in his old age.......
