I do like to try and wear clothes that remind me of Amiga things, like my rainbow socks and t-shirt that remind me of the rainbow checkmark logo.

Last year I had some nice T-shirts made, in indigo/purple-ish colour, kinda like the background on the insert floppy screen of OS2.0+, with a nice big original rainbow checkmark on the chest. It has been recognized for what it is perhaps a handfull of times. But it was quite busy to wear it when going out in Amsterdam, I've never had so many guys hit on me, ever! The sad faces when I explained what it really was.

I've added a real photo of me in the profile, don't really want to change the avatar.

ROTFL +1

I think that goes for the airbrushing too ;)

I'm not sure if you're referring to the paint on my legs or the softened image I use for my avatar. I used a soften filter on it to bring down the detail so I could save the avatar within Amiga.org's filesize limits, but keeping the quality high enough not to go blotty. As for the stripes on my legs, I ended up painting them onto some stockings so I can easily throw those on under the leotard without having to get my hands green every time I dress up.

Here's the original image from my avatar, unaltered apart from being scaled down from its original size, it was taken last year I think but I still look the same:

I really am sorry for anyone who is sick of seeing me by now.

Meow!!! ;)
Earth has a lot of things other folks might want... like the whole planet. And maybe these folks would like a few changes made, like more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and room for their way of life. - William S. Burroughs

The soften filter - at first I thought it was sunshine glare. Reducing the colours to 16 or 32 might also help the file size and look good on an Amiga (not that I use one for the web). I'll take your word for it for the legs
as it's like a pack of horny lads on a night out around here...! :)

Until I can get a more recent pic (my hair is a bit longer now, but not much else has changed) here's the photo from my avatar:

AJCopland: Yes, we did - but without me ... they replaced me with a backing track for the night.  A fantastic crowd/night from what I heard though :)
