:( There isn't much information on the link you gave or the Big Book of Amiga Hardware.

Is this true AGA or on 12bit?

When was the last time it was tested?

What price are you looking for?

Answering these questions in your initial post would help you sell it faster. ;)

PS- I AM interested so please let us in on the info please!  <--I said "please" TWICE!!

From the PDF "Der ScanDoubler II ist ein 24-Bit Flickerfixer für den Amiga 4000"

I don't speak German, but it sure looks like it's more than 12 bit to me.

I'm interested as well, but the fact that it only doubles the rate does worry me.  It won't act like an Indivision, LCD's will still be hit or miss.

He puts up loads of stuff on Ebay and usually posts here when he lists something new.

Check his Ebay store at : http://myworld.ebay.com/cph_ao/

I do not want to hide any info, but most time the Big Book or the HW database are much more accurate than I am with technical details.

It is true AGA and it was tested two days back, so it does work fine.

For the price: I am open for trades (for other amiga items) or money. It is not an Indivision, but IMHO it is quite close to it.

If you need mor info, just ask.

The ScanDo/FF is not on ebay. Most items from my collection I offer for sale her before (ok I got somewhat lazy, as I did not have much luck in selling any items here and my wife is pressing for the room I occupy with "useless old computers" ;) )

But you are right, when I put something on ebay, I usually put a pointer here.

I THINK it is saying, "The Scandouber II is a 24-Bit Flickerfixer for the Amiga 4000"

Now I could be getting that wrong since the only German I know I learned from "The Simpsons"...:roflmao:

:( I miss Franko.  He'd have a much snappier reply than that...

Your translation is right.

The Simpsons use German? Here (in Germany) we look the Simpsons in original language to get all the jokes, I never heard them speaking German (would be funny ;) )

He he!  Only for the flashbacks Grandpa Simpson has about WWII.  And really the only line I vaguely remember is Hitler screaming, "Ach!  Ich nine boobies!" when Grandpa looses the mellons from his dancing girl disguise.:roflmao:

Before the revelation, Hitler was TOTALLY hitting on Grandpa!

Your wife must be happy, because you've got a huge amount of Amiga gear going... Too bad my funds are limited :)

I owned one of these Flickerfixer and it was great:
-it works with HighGfx 1024x768 screenmodes (Indivision HighGfx screenmodes come from this)
-it shows even super-hires-laced as a rock stable screen.
-it doubles everything: even VGA modes are doubled from 31 to ~64Khz.
-it has video composite out

Right now it's a very good flickerfixer for A4000T
