Another classic software that can be legally obtained only with AmigaOS 4 (like IBrowse).

From the changelog:
Code: [Select]
- Replaced all "MorphOS" in catalog strings with proper "AmigaOS" ones.

So, its a port from MOS then?
Probably someone with the sources shall also port it to AmigaOS 3, since it is no longer on sale.

AmIRC was ported to MorphOS years ago: http://www.biclodon.com/software/amirc/
Apparently the author based his work on the MorphOS port.

Depends on the agreement I guess. You should ask the author of the OS4 release.

Can I? I went to the page and I noticed you can't just register over the web anymore and I'd really like a Key for my Amiga and MorphOS machine.

If you ask nicely at vapor.com they will email you a key for free,

a friend of mine just got one last week.

OS3 port would be absolutely cool.

AmIRC on AROS would be nice too.

But when I e-mailed them my E-mail bounced back. Also it would be GREAT to have AmIRC on AROS!

I think I'll just head over to EAB and request a key there.

It is easy to see from other chatters to see if you are using legal key or not. I remember people being banned for using public keyfiles 11 years ago. Oh, the memories.

There is no longer need to register it, as AmIRC is now freeware.

You can download both AmigaOS (68020+) and MorphOS (PowerPC) builds from: http://biclodon.com/software/amirc/

Enjoy!

Ya, but the cut off after 30 minutes or what ever. Annoying. I also downloaded that Net Connect CD, but can't find the key on there either. :/
