Well it works, with some minor issues. (Check amigaworld.net news thread).

Got mine last night, and it works great on my 50MHz 060 A1200 with a Netgear MA-401 card.  Haven't done any benchmarking, but it runs quickly enough to browse.

I do, however, have some other problem with the card in regards to not always wanting to connect after a cold boot, and only sometimes connecting after a warm boot.  I am using CardReset.  I think it's just an issue with the card which I might chronicle if I get motivated.

Hey, but is the WPA2 - PSK authorization also supported?

And how do I upgrade the firmware on Amiga?

It's generic. Everything you need to know is here: http://linux.junsun.net/intersil-prism/

I've been trying to check and update the firmware using my WinXP tower, bu thave been unable to find a driver for this thing so the card will be recognized by the Windows updater tool. Grrr. I even managed to get the PC internet connected via the wireless to ethernet dongle from my Tivo, and can check web pages, but online driver scanning comes up empty. Boooo!

I'll have to try Linux. Wubi, here I come looking for you...

Anyone been successful? My Amikit card has PCI IDs vendor=1260 device=3873.

Update - I believe I got my firmware fro P1.1.0/S1.4.9 changed to P1.1.1/S1.8.2 now, via Linux prism2_sec program. Do we need a bounty to port prism2_srec and hostap_diag tools to OS4? ;)

According to the page linked above, "The driver for Linksys WPC11 v2.5 should [be] OK". IIRC I used this driver on my Win2000 box even though I don't have this card model.
