A600 / WB2.1 with what VGA monitor driver?
« on: May 18, 2011, 09:43:49 PM »
Title says it all - I've tried a number from Aminet and they all appear to be WB 3.0+. Can anyone recommend a VGA driver or DBLPal genuine 30khz driver I can use with my A600?

The aminet drivers I've tried and copied to devs/monitors won't show in the screenmode prefs whereas a copied storage/monitors/super72 driver will (which incidentally doesn't work as its <30khz).

I've tried the following drivers:

super83b.lha
Super72NEW.lha
newDblNTSC.lha

There doesn't appear to be a VGAOnly driver already with WB 2.1.

Thanks

Multiscan is built into the OS and should work fine (look in Storage/Monitors)

I'd try the monitor drivers from workbench3.0/3.1....there's a vgaonly driver in there.  My guess is that they'd work.  So copy over the Multiscan driver and the vgaonly driver and give that a try.
