Since Keyrah transforms an A600/A1200 keyboard to a USB one... I guess that any device that can use an USB HID Keyboard will be just fine.

Sounds like it would work, while also using a USB->PS2 adapter. I'm not sure how useful the USB ports the addon card for FPGA Arcade are to Minimig, maybe it'd work directly, should be able to make it work directly anyway. Or, since it's an FPGA, recode something to put a keyboard adapter directly on the FPGA expansion bus. :)

But seems like it should be fine. Of course, time, and somebody who has all that in one place, will tell.

So if used keyrah does it just need the keyboard and power . Or does it have to use the whole computer?

USB to PS/2 adapters are generally passive devices, so it depends on how the encoder of the USB keyboard.  I would think that if it works with other PS/2 computers it should work with the FPGAArcade.  Maybe someone with a keyrah can test it with a standard PC while we wait for the FPGAArcades.

The USB port on FPGA Arcade is wired to the ARM chip. If the ARM can do controller mode AND the firmware process this the right way it may work. Otherwise.. PS/2 port has to be used.
mikej/yaqube has to clarify.

Probably have to wait for the 060 daughtercard to be finished, as it appears to have 3 USB ports added to it that could be used for a keyboard and mouse.

@Belial6,

USB joysticks are junk and you would want to stick with the Amiga/Atari style digital joysticks instead.  I bought one of those USB joysticks and sold it soon after, as the response time from it makes it almost unusable for most games.
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)

USB is a pile of shit overhead and latency ontop of wasted cpu-polling.

Keyrah doesn't work with PS2 adapter, it's a "pure" USB device.
